VISITING & FACILITY
Where is Training Zone located?
Training Zone is at 5639 Mirabella Dr, Herriman, UT 84096. We're a basketball training facility serving Herriman and the surrounding southwest Salt Lake Valley.
What are your hours?
We're open 5am to 12am, seven days a week. Members with a gym pass have 24/7 access, so they can get in outside those hours as well.
How do I contact Training Zone?
Call or text us at 385-786-9324 — texting is usually fastest. You can also book online at book.trainingzoneutah.com.
Can I rent a court?
Yes. Premium court time is available by the hour, every day of the week, and you can reserve it online at book.trainingzoneutah.com.
Do you have 24/7 gym access?
Yes — 24/7 gym access is included with a Private Training membership and with a gym pass. That access is the point: the work players put in between coached sessions is what actually moves them.
What should my athlete bring?
Gear for their sport, a water bottle, and a willingness to work. We handle everything else.
PROGRAMS & PRICING
How much does training cost at Training Zone?
Private Training is $497 per month, which includes four one-on-one sessions, a monthly Shot Plan with film feedback, 24/7 gym access, and group training. Non-members can book a single one-on-one session for $150 per hour. Group Training and gym access is $150 for a single pass or $250 for a family pass.
What's included in the Private Training membership?
Four one-on-one coached sessions each month, a monthly Shot Plan written for your athlete, film feedback any time they send video, a 24/7 gym pass, and full access to coached group training. One of the four sessions can be used as a dedicated shot session if you want it.
Do I need a membership to train?
No. You can book one-on-one sessions by the hour at $150 with no membership and no contract. The Shot Plan, gym access, and group training are membership benefits, and members also train at a meaningfully lower per-session rate.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
The Private Training membership is month to month and you can cancel any time. There's no long-term contract.
What is the 90 Day Shot Program and how much does it cost?
The 90 Day Shot Program is our flagship shooting rebuild — everything in Private Training, plus hands-on, in-depth work to reconstruct your athlete's shot, with frame-by-frame video breakdown, custom workouts, and tracked metrics over 90 days. It's $2,997 paid in full, or three payments of $1,200. It's limited to 10 spots and every athlete starts with a conversation.
Do you offer group training?
Yes. Coached group sessions give players competitive reps against other athletes — the piece that private work alone can't provide. It's included with a Private Training membership, and available on its own for $150 single or $250 family.
What sports do you train?
Basketball is our core sport, and all private training is basketball. Soccer and volleyball are launching at Training Zone in September 2026 through the Academy.
GETTING STARTED
How do I get started at Training Zone?
Start with a free evaluation. It takes about fifteen minutes — your athlete works with a coach, we tell you exactly what we see in their game, and then we talk about which program fits. No pressure either way.
Do you offer a free trial or free session?
Yes. We offer a free 15-minute evaluation at no cost and with no obligation. Your athlete works, then we spend a few minutes with you on what we saw.
Why is the evaluation free?
There's no catch. Most parents want to feel things out before committing, and we want to know whether you're a good fit for us too — it doesn't help anyone if an athlete lands in the wrong program. If we think we can help, we'll recommend a specific program. Either way, you leave knowing where your athlete stands.
How do I book a session?
Book online at book.trainingzoneutah.com, or call or text 385-786-9324. For a first visit, book the free evaluation.
Who are the coaches?
Our trainers have D1 college, pro, and semi-pro playing experience, have worked and trained under some of the most recognized trainers in the game, and bring over 20 years of combined experience training athletes.
THE ACADEMY
What is the Training Zone Academy?
The Academy is our year-round elite development program built on a hybrid school schedule. Athletes train four days a week during the school day — when body and mind are fresh — then take core classes partly on campus and partly online through your district. That frees up evenings for homework, family, and being a kid. Training covers the Core Four every week: individual skill, IQ and game reads, mental performance, and strength and speed.
Who is the Academy for, and how many athletes do you take?
There are two groups. Junior high athletes in 7th–9th grade train 8–10am or 10am–12pm, four days a week. High school athletes in 10th–12th grade get a custom schedule built around their A/B day, with one-on-one training, custom programming, and small group live work in groups of three to six. Each cohort is capped at 25 athletes.
Do you have a soccer or volleyball Academy?
Both launch in September 2026. Nik Kizerian, a former D1 college player, will be one of our featured soccer trainers, and Jessica Finai, a former D1 college player and high school coach, will lead the volleyball Academy. Same model as basketball — hybrid school, four-pillar training, capped at 25 athletes. Seats are filling now.
How much does the Academy cost?
The junior high group for 7th–9th grade is $650 per month, and the high school group for 10th–12th grade is $950 per month. Both include full gym access from 5am to midnight Monday through Saturday, Shot Lab access, all large-group trainings, and a Family Pass for siblings.
How do I find out if the Academy is right for my athlete?
Book a call. We'll learn about your athlete, answer your questions, and help you decide whether the Academy is the right fit — including honestly telling you if it isn't.
AGES & FIT
What ages do you train?
We work with players across elementary, junior high, and high school. Sessions are built around the individual player, so age matters much less than where an athlete is in their development.
My athlete is brand new to the game. Is Training Zone right for us?
It depends on the program. Our free evaluation and flagship programs are built for players with two or more years of competitive experience and goals of playing varsity, college, or pro. If your athlete is newer to the game — just starting Bantam, or coming out of a Jazz league — group training is the better starting point. For kindergarten through 2nd grade, we recommend our Rookie Group Class.
Do you train high school, college, and pro players?
Yes. You'll regularly find college and pro players, top high school players, and young rising talent working in our gym. Training Zone is built for elite players and for players who've shown the drive to become elite.
Can we add extra sessions beyond what's included?
Yes. Members can add sessions at a member rate well below what non-members pay. Ask us and we'll walk you through it.
